Music is the greatest communicator of the human experience. The hallmark of strong songwriting is capturing universal emotions through the lens of the songwriter. For Women’s History Month 2025, APM celebrates women's perspectives and journeys through song.
The music industry is seeing a resurgence of unforgettable talent from women. At the time of writing, 15 out of 25 songs in the Billboard Hot 100 feature songs from female artists. Now, more than ever, the female perspective is being heard and celebrated.
The APM Indie Artist Live concert series will feature three live performances from exciting female artists.

March 28 – Blondfire
Here’s how Blondfire’s Erica Driscoll describes the inspiration for their self-titled EP from Kinetik: “We wanted to put together a group of songs that felt fun and free. Like you were having a night out with your friends and no telling what would happen or where you’d end up.” This exciting duo has been featured on Nic Harcourt's “Fresh Squeezed Track of the Day” on The SoCal Sound 88.5 KCSN radio show most recently. Blondfire’s 20-year career of making infectious Indie Pop includes record deals with EMI Records UK and Warner Brothers Records.
